About AVASLP

The Association of Veteran Affairs Speech-Language Pathologists(AVASLP) is an organization for speech-language pathologists employed by the VA and the DHA.  This organization was formed to provide educational and training opportunities specifically for VA/DHA speech-language pathologists, as well as address issues or concerns of VA speech-language pathologists.

The goal is providing excellence in patient care through training, research and education.  Another purpose is collaboration with speech-language pathologists within the VA system and outside the VA at all levels and to establish professional working relationships.  It is through these working relationships we can achieve more and learn more to better serve our veteran population.
